Awards &#038; Excellence

Wedding & portrait photography requires a lot of patience and passion. Nothing beats the satisfaction if your hard work is recognized in the competitions at international level via participation in high standard competitions. This is one way to measure where we stand at international level, head to head with the world’s best besides being loved by our clients.

I have been participating in Wedding & Portrait Photographer International (WPPI) competitions, the world’s biggest and most glamorous competition for wedding and portrait photographers. In my first attempt, my signature photograph, “Father’s Prayer” has allowed me to become the first and only wedding photographer in Malaysia who has won 1st Place in Wedding Photojournalism category. In the same year, I bagged another award, 3rd Place in Wedding Details in the same competition. Since then, my constant participations in WPPI competitions have also bagged me a number of Accolade of Excellence.

2011 marks another great journey for me as a wedding and portrait photographer. My debut participation in International Society of Professional Wedding Photographers (ISPWP) has won 4th Place in Bride Portrait category, followed by a 2nd Place in Framing The Subject category as well as an 8th Place in All About Light category.

It has never been easy, but with the awards as an encouragement and recognition at international level, all my hard work for my clients on their wedding day is worth every bit of it.
